Stay Current and Compliant

• Employees and Volunteers must be current with Safe Environment (E3) requirements (www.virtusonline.org) AT ALL TIMES. 

• Employee/Volunteer will receive automated notices from the VIRTUS system when requirements are due and from Safe Environment Coordinator, if necessary

• Employee/Volunteer must maintain a current email address in your VIRTUS account to receive notifications and stay current

• Overdue VIRTUS accounts will be made “inactive” and Employee/Volunteer will not be allowed to log in until contacting Safe Environment Coordinator - Theresa Doyle | tdoyle@holytrinityssp.org

• If you believe you are a current volunteer, but cannot get into your account, contact Safe Environment Coordinator - Theresa Doyle | tdoyle@holytrinityssp.org

• Employees & volunteers from other Archdiocese locations who are new to Holy Trinity may need to complete additional paperwork to be E3 compliant at Holy Trinity, but would not need to create a new VIRTUS account.

Essential 3 Renewal Instructions:

• Go to the VIRTUS website and log in: virtusonline.org

• View the square tiles on the Home screen and complete all that are assigned

• The following items should be assigned for renewal:

  • Required Document: Code of Conduct (Approximately 5 minutes)

  • Background Check (Approximately 10 minutes)

    • The application will open in the McDowell Agency

    • Social Security Number (SSN) is required

    • Click Submit at the end of each step

    • A note will appear on the screen to confirm the application has been successfully completed

    • Click Return to VIRTUS to begin your online training

• Safe Environment Training (Approximately 30-35 minutes)
